In 2018, the UNSW Centre for Big Data Research in Health (CBDRH) planned to launch a Masters of Health Data Science (MSc HDS), which was the first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. They were seeking support to position CBDRH as the trusted Australian authority on health data science and attract high quality students already in the health sector.
